Our Firm

Benjamin E. Martin, partner

Benjamin E. Martin has over 10 years of professional experience in the construction industry and holds a B.S. in Construction Science from Texas A&M University.

His experience includes field management, preconstruction and project management in hospitality, retail, office and government projects. Ben is currently a Partner/Owner of Baucom, LLC.

Prior to this, Martin worked as a project manager and estimator for Sundt Construction, Inc. Ben is certified as a Design-Build Professional by the Design-Build Institute of America, where he also sits on the Board of Directors for the Southwest Chapter. He also holds an Associate Constructor certification by the American Institute of Constructors.

It is with this extensive training and experience that Ben is able to provide a unique and successful approach to each project with which he is associated.

Jonathan B. McKelvain, partner

Jonathan B. McKelvain has a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Development from Texas A&M University and is a graduate of both the Supply Officer Basic and Supply Officer Departmental Head Schools from the U.S. Navy.

Jonathan has extensive experience in logistics chain management, operational management, procurement, scheduling and financial management.

While in the Navy, Jonathan planned and directed all logistical support operations for the Naval Mine Countermeasures Unit. Since his release from active duty service, he has been fully involved as a Partner/Owner and in the field operations for Baucom Construction, where he has gained valuable knowledge of construction practices. This, coupled with his past experience and training in supply and logistics, makes him an invaluable team member on all projects.
